I grew up on a crop-livestock farm in Kansas . After completing graduate studies, I taught agronomy to university students in China for 15 years while serving with a non-governmental organization.

My wife, Melissa, is from Langdon, ND. We hosting people in our home and taking part in community activities. Our dream vacation is to spend six weeks traveling in the U.K.
