Admission Requirements
Please refer to the application requirements and procedures.
- Domestic and Permanent Resident Applicants
- Apply at least one month prior to start of classes
- International Applicants
- Application deadlines: May 1 (Fall), October 1 (Spring) and March 30 (Summer)
In addition to the Graduate School requirements, the applicant must have adequate preparation in Plant Pathology, Microbiology or related fields. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is not required as part of the application.
Assistantships
Most M.S. and Ph.D. students admitted to the department receive graduate research assistantships. Applicants are automatically considered for available funding opportunities for which they may be eligible. Applications are evaluated based on their academic merit and potential to engage in advanced study and research endeavors.
