Plate Readers

The µCore is equipped with a Biotek multi-modal Synergy HT microplate reader and a Biotek Cytation 5 multi-mode plate reader with imaging capabilities (Brightfield, Phase contrast and Fluorescence).

Both machines can read fluorescence, chemiluminescence, and absorbance at most wavelengths and use any well-size microplate (6-384+ wells). These machines are also capable of incubating with temperature and shaking, kinetic and endpoint reading, and handling a wide variety of data calculations. The Biotek Cytation 5 is equipped with a 4X and 20X objective.  This reader is capable of performing automated Brightfield, Phase Contrast and Fluorescence imaging and analysis.
