Description

The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is a federally funded program provided through NDSU Extension in North Dakota. This free program teaches income-eligible families and youth to save money and live a healthful and active lifestyle.

This program is for families with children, youth ages 5 to 18, grandparents raising grandchildren and teen parents who are eligible for any assistance program, such as:

  • Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
  • Head Start
  • Free or reduced-price meals
