EFNEP

The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is the nation’s first nutrition education program for low-income populations and remains at the forefront of nutrition education efforts to reduce nutrition insecurity of low-income families and youth today.

FNP (SNAP-Ed)

The Family Nutrition Program (FNP) is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) program for North Dakota. SNAP-Ed is the nutrition education and obesity prevention component of SNAP, and is designed to improve the likelihood that persons eligible for SNAP and other low-income individuals will make healthy food choices within a limited budget and choose physically active lifestyles.
